Its been vehemently churning out ideas and concepts for side-series and reboots that it’s almost too much to keep up with. I also think there are other priorities that Disney wants for its streaming service.
I’ll be honest, I spaced House of Mouse until looking through the shows on its launch, and then it hit me. I think it has to do with the perceived disinterest in it compared to other series in the works. While I can’t say for certain, I can give my own speculation as to why Disney hasn’t given House of Mouse any time of day since it stopped airing all that time ago. Why isn’t House of Mouse on Disney Plus yet? Here we are, though, almost a year since Disney Plus launched, still wondering why they’re side-stepping this underrated series. While it didn’t last as long as others, it proved to be a fan-favorite, even taking up a spot on Hidden Remote’s underrated shows that should be added to Disney Plus.Įven so, it didn’t make the cut at the very start, as I was an early bird to get the service, I thought it would come later. It seemed like House of Mouse would be perfect for the average Disney fan browsing Disney Plus. But theres one very small problem the house is occupied by a tenacious mouse.

The series was chock full of pop culture jokes, many tied to Disney themselves, cartoons specially made for the series, and full of beloved characters throughout Disney’s animated history. restoring their antique house could bring them a great deal of money.
